Barnevelders - Waiting list only

Barnevelders originated in Holland and are best known for producing very dark brown eggs. The plumage is very tight and of nice texture. Much of the plumage is either black, reddish brown with lustrous greenish black lacing or black with reddish brown edging in a pattern known as double-laced partridge. Barnevelders have yellow skin, shanks and toes.

At maturity males are about 6 lbs. and hens-5 lbs.
