White Giants

Jersey White Giants, are not as well known as Black Giants. Both varieties of Jersey Giants originated in New Jersey during the 1880's by crossing Black Javas, Dark Brahmas and Black Langshans. They are very large and present an imposing sight with their solid white plumage contrasting with their dark willow shanks. Although the chicks appear to be smoky or black, the adults will be completely white. Some of the information in the Black Giant paragraph also applies to White Giants.
