Saipan Jungle Fowl
Saipan Jungle Fowl are named after the Island of Saipan located in the South Pacific. They are not classified as a true Jungle Fowl and are not a breed which has been accepted by the Standard of Perfection. They are very tall muscular birds with nearly a vertical carriage, which is very similar to the carriage of Shamos. The males are red with black breasts and tails while the females are laced reddish brown. This is an extremely rare breed. Seldom are chicks offered for sale from any source other than DarkEggs.com.
