Red Shouldered Yokohamas
Red Shoulder Yokohamas are a long tailed, pea comb, Oriental variety that originated in Japan. They are very rare and are closely related to Phoenix, which have single combs. They are characterized by having a beautiful, pheasant-like body with profuse lengthy saddle feathers and long tail furnishings including sickle feathers and side hangers or tail coverts. In order to keep the tail growing, correct lighting and heating is required, otherwise they will molt the same as other breeds.
